Pre-Kindergarten (4 ½ – 5 ½ years)
Heritage Children's Academy recognizes the importance of preparing your child for Kindergarten. Our Pre-K 4's program follows a nationally acclaimed curriculum, “The Land of the Letter People” by Abrams & Company. This curriculum is enhanced by our certified teachers through additional theme-related materials, learning centers, an integrated monthly math unit and an interactive science program. By implementing a comprehensive curriculum, we focus on oral language, vocabulary, phonological awareness, letter identification and print awareness. A creative atmosphere helps to stimulate imagination as Letter People visit weekly bringing books, songs, and hands-on activities to share. As we introduce your child to a strong academic year of sight words, journal writing, reading readiness and other important skills, we ensure that your child will be fully prepared for their Kindergarten year.
